Zaggank needs a new arena partner

Howdy, people!

My long time 2v2 partner Caelithin (a frost mage) is leaving WoW for a while until WotLK comes, thus leaving me with no partner in 2v2 and after a new 3v3 as well.

So, I'd like to ask who'd like to team up with me, if not due to liking PVP, at least to help a mate. There are dozens of comps that work well with a Rogue, so feel free to take a step forward!

Arenas are something I am interested in, but I'm not sure a UA lock works well...

I have the vendor-blue pvp gear though I do also have the token for the S1 gloves...

Lock Rogue is quite good. You'll be more squishy as UA than if you were SL / SL, as expected, especially since the PVP blues, for some odd reason, are somewhat lacking in resilience, as I had the displeasure of noticing when the first mutilate Rogue decided to have a chat with Zaggu...

It is, however, quite possible for UA to work albeit not optimal. Trouble with warlocks is the ease with wihich they are trained by opponents, BUT in 2v2 I can cover your back and we have a bucketload of CC on offer. Up for a go later today? Get that stamina maxed as much as possible so you can make it alive past a initial stunlock should I get sapped and prepare to be REALLY aggressive - dual dps is HUGE fun and quite frantic!

BTW, is anyone up for a 3v3 team? I own both charters, so no need for further expenses there.

EDIT: checked your armory profile, thatbloke - if you have that much stamina in PVE kit I am quite certain it will suffice once decked in PVP gear by far.

IIRC the ungemmed/unenchanted blue pvp kit actually gives me precisely the same amount of stamina

Ok, today is the final day to get the rating going for points, so I suggest we meet up and get those games going. A couple skirmishes to get the basics going and then the mandatory 10 games (or more, if we run into campable teams, of course). What say ye?

Same here. Let mayhem begin, then! Getting a 'goose enchant from Lithy today as well, should I find him online. I can't help but feeling a rather twisted feeling of glee and jubilation at the idea of shooting a cold blood + mutilate on a KS'd target with expose armor and a nice mongoose proc to boot

Since Qantaqa has obvious talent (although he did die to a mage... that's blasphemy to Warlocks! ) and we seem to be picking up the pace faster than expected, it would be nice to get us a lovely 3v3 as well. So, the question is: any takers?

I'm no taker, but I will insert a note: get thee to the events section and RSVP for the friday and sunday events.

Even if it's just to say you're not going, do get into the habit of checking that section out.

Z, exactly which addon is being used to accept / decline events these days? I have attempting to sync group calendar for two days and all I get are guild members' birthdays.

Edit: just to clear things up, we're currently using RSVP alone, from what I gather. Is this correct? Confirming Sunday attendance, either way.

We mean the Events calendar on these forums >_<

Although i personally have never had any trouble with event management mods in-game, too many people claim to have trouble with such mods so the idea of using them got thrown out the window.

Hey, got lazy half way through the thread and stopped reading so i dont know if this is relevant now

I have a 350 odd resi pvp/pve feral dps spec hybrid by the name of Rumproast *Applause* if you need me for anything. I used to pvp a lot with him but its tailed off with trying to get baldi shadow geared after the respec.

Anyways, gimme a shout if you need me.

Well, I've got thatbloke on my 2v2 already, which doesn't exclude the tree-hugging cow on any account, since all we have to do is to guarantee minimal match attendance each week. Even Baldi could join if you like.

I'd like to see a nice little 3v3 happening as well, but a healer would be mandatory there.
