i37 exhibition hall

did anyone else weep slightly at the epic fail there? Quiet PC, multiplay,samsung and.....street fighter?

as this is my first iseries, i cant really complain too much, but from what i heard the one they had last year was far better.

any thoughts?

Hey, now! Street Fighter was the best thing in that place, I should have signed up for the tourny but I'm a coward ... As for the rest of it, it did look pretty sparse but I wasn't all that interested in that stuff anyway. I think spicypixel was saying 'Anyone who came for the M festival itself got supremely shafted' or something to that effect.

Compared to i34 it was absolutely dire. Main Stage was great, though.

Intel wasn't there which was crap. They usually have a good number of tournaments like the UT3 one we should have won. I think it can all be blamed on the recession and reluctance for companies to spend money. Shame.

Also, check Chrono's post time. Looks like we have a contender for my title.

The exhibition hall was dire at i36 when compared with i34. Somehow this one was worse, although they did actually fix the problems with the stage that meant that no-one could actually see what was happening at i36.

I know it's an over-used term but it is all because of the recession atm... there are apparently alot more companies who are thinking of expanding their marketing budget for Q4 2009 (i.e. in time for i38) and that may therefore mean better stuff at i38 and beyond

tbh it seemed lucky that i was in the gamers haven for the most part because the samsung stall was crap!!! lol, the best part was the frizbees and the giuys throwing cans into the audiences

plus the mainstage screens were a lil high, it was hard to see much. Am hoping i38 will have some good things though .

Yeah, I waa disappointed by the exhibition hall especially as I was promised it would be super-awesomely big at the summer event. T_T

Hopefully it will be bigger at i39 which will probably be my next one (I have to actually study at University now apparently!) if Iro' and/or Tets' is going that is.

i want grenades and squish pigs!!!! i feel that they would go rather nice on my self next to my gas mask,barbie doll and games collection ^___^

My collection of crucial pigs hasn't grown much from this event but as they have had them since i29 I have quite a collection.

Back then winning them was a challenge of awesomeness.
I juggled 4 of the things at i29 to just be able to compete in the pig stacking.

Now they merely hand them out like they are worthless foam farm animals with silly faces.
