Hear comes the best snack that anyone will ever taste, hear of and will probably orgasm over it... pritty much everytime they look at it;
Hot toast with butter... melted nicely, then get some bacon and liver pate' out of the fridge, put a medium layer of that across it... then sprinkle a fine layer of sea salt ontop

edit: I assume thats another of your indigenous strangely named dishes (that nonetheless usually tastes well enough) there's "spotted dick", I believe? anything else? "turd from the bird"? "sewage delight"? "waste paste"?

Im up for some "turd from a bird" followed by some "pigs in blankets" & a "slug in a rug" mmmmmmmm
But on a more "real" food note;
My fav (apart from all food) is Aromatic duck & some of that super fine plum sauce with thin strips of cucumber and whatever else you get in them thin pancakes - mmmmm - its the nutz

for the record, I've tasted it once, it doesn't taste at all like it smells, but I let my parents indulge in the eating of that particular dish alone in any case.

Cheese goes with everything, especially peanut butter and toast.
When I say cheese, I mainly mean cheddar of the seriously strong variety. You know, the stuff that makes your teeth itch.
