So I was a closet apple lover, I admit it.

I think I am falling in love with all things apple. I m planning on selling my appy desktop PC and grabbing an iPhone, iPod and of course iPad. I'll also get a macbook.

What can I say? I've seen the light.

Why would you want an ipad? They're totally pointless.

I own a few of their products - Macbook pro, ipod classic and iMac, but don't understand why anyone would buy an ipad.

The iPad is by far the most useful gadgety thing I've bought in a while. If you have a desktop and need a mobile solution I've found it so much better than a laptop. It does everything I would want a laptop to do more conveniently. It is also an awesome ebook and comic book reader. When I first bought it I wasn't sure how much use I'd get from it and was I'll admit very caught up in the LOOK HOW SHINY. I lent mine to a mate for 2 days last week and genuinely missed it.

Not sure if we are being trolled on this one or not .

Either way iPads are awesome, if this is genuine as well there are some benefits to knowing bob.

It doesn't have a USB port.

Any use as a laptop replacement goes right out the window with that IMO.

It does if you purchase the special docking port converter into SD-card reader, USB port and something else as well.

That being said, my Acer Iconia A500 has full-size USB port built in.

And quite often fails to mount whatever device I plug into it >.<

But it's the thought that counts
