downloaded the demo and am playing with it at the moment. tis quite good, but i keep holding down keys to go two to the left / right, and it only does one.

the graphics are quite funky though. spesh how it visualises the music in quite a unique way.

The fact it speeds up and down can be annoying at times, especially if youre trying to judge how fast to change lanes!

I play using the mouse, but if you're really pro you use ~12345 to choose a lane.

I would if i was on my desktop. But only have the laptop here, so its either keyboard, or touchpad.... and i really dont want to go back down the bad road of using touchpad for gaming. was bad enough with counterstrike source!

might try 12345 thing though.

I like the freeride feature. just sit and look at the psychedelic things go by!

I still think using the keyboard is too slow. Although I haven't tried 12345... Is the lane switch faster than with the arrow keys? Because that simply won't fly in the faster songs.

Got the demo of this yesterday, tried Knights of Cydonia and When You Were Young on it - looks like a fun game

Ok, I paid for the game, yet I now cannot play it because my demo expired ? what Have I done wrong

Restart steam, that should fix it. If it doesn't, restart your computer. If not, reinstall the game. If that doesn't fix it, then get on to the audiosurf forums. (I had the same issue, the steam restart worked for me )

I just exited the demo version of audiosurf and it caused two things: Steam opened up and displayed on-screen at the same time every single options menu and context menu it could possibly show all in one place on top of each other, and it also caused my wireless network to die and need resetting.

Had to restart both my computer AND my router after this happened to get internet back

Oops. I might have maybe installed it on my girlfriends computer, and she seems to love it and is now trying to buy it. heh

Her reactions are so much faster than mine. Shes also very good at tetris, when im shit. yet i can play tf2 with okayish reactions, but she is useless. wierd

although steam seems to kill her wireless on her computer, and shes currently stressing and hitting her head on the desk.... i should go hug her.... meh :-D

They're the same game, the demo just lets you play it for 4 tracks. then locks you out and tells you to go buy it

Blah. So I guess there was an update for this on steam, and I guess this resets all the tutorial stuff? Lame.

Not much of a problem, it only showed the video tutorial for me which I just dismissed. They fixed the cursor dissapearing problem which happened for me a few times

It was stopping the game and explaining what the powerups do the first time I grabbed one, again as well. Quite annoying.

I was getting the missing cursor bug a few times too. I've also noticed a massive increase to performance!
