Banned from Minecraft Server for no reason?

I have been banned from the TheHavenNet Minecraft server run by Wol, I dont know why I was banned, I was AFK and I came back and it said "The Ban Hammer Has Spoken!" Contact me as soon as possible please, I'm sure there has been a mistake.

You have been informed several times that before we give build permissions to a random person on our server, we would like that you come in here and get to know us a bit better first.

After all the server we have is funded by us for us, so we dont just let anyone in.

Your incessant messages of "Wol" "Wol" "Woooooool" "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL" in the minecraft chat continued, even though you were warned about them got annoying very quickly! It's not school, you can just ask a question without having to go "siiiiiiiiiir" first.

I suggested that you come here and sign up and get to know us a bit better. Regstering and only posting in the "Hey admins!" section doesn't really count as getting to know us! At the top of the forum list, theres a "Welcome" forum for new people to come in, tell us a bit about themselves etc. It seems you didn't put in the effort to bother posting there, so I'm not putting in the effort into giving you build permissions. Claiming that you "got to know everyone" on the server was a bit .... odd, since you barely spoke to many people apart from suggesting that we ban Trax.

You can appeal to the other MC admins or admins on here to get access, but that's my viewpoint.

To be fair, he tried to come here and register, but I banned his account on suspicion of being a spammer before he got chance to do anything else (clearly unbanned now).

I suspect that this is turning out to be a confluence of unfortunate events...

I think to an extent as Ronin said this chap has been a little unfortunate that he has been ban hammered from every direction :p

Still having troubles activating account, I dont know why, I havent been able to introduce myself, but I have got to know some people in the server, like bacon and the guy in the iron man skin.

You have got to know me? We have spoke like once and you tried to get me killed ... I don't think that counts at knowing me :s

You'll have to speak to one of the other MC Admins regarding your current status on the server.

Right, yeah. This has been discussed on IRC, We are reinstating him and providing build rights on the server, and only getting a ban should he misbehave on the server.

Jamesrune97, in future can you not pester our admins as much as you were pestering Wol please? If you have a query about the server post a thread on the forums in the minecraft section: http://games.thehavennet.org.uk/group.php?groupid=22.

You may also use /irc to get the attention of a server admin from within Minecraft.

You can build as of now.
