Right, hello and welcome.
I hear you asking, what's going to happen community wise?
Well here we go!
First up:
Friendly matches Vs Other clans
The Most obvious example of this is the upcoming match vs TC! (if you havn't signed up yet, do so by following the calender to Jan 8th)
Hopefully this will be a regular occurence, and we're hoping to challenge either clan's who put up a good fight in ED (i.e TC) or those who have a good reputation from members of THN (ASY in the case of Giz)
Team wise, a mix of community and ED, with emphasis on those who havn't played much/before whilst keeping the strong leadership (at least until a replacement is found
)
Total BF2 map pack #2
When this will happen is up for debate, I'm thinking of organising it on a tuesday (usually reserved for practices) when there are not any upcoming matches in the next week.
Haven has agreed that if TBf2's servers are slow, or require registration. Serenity will mirror the file for a short while to ensure everyone has it. Even so expect at least a week's notice so everyone's all set and ready for the night.
Capture The Flag
Unfortunetly this is waiting on the release of version 2.0 by the dev team (Desert Conflict) This is only because V.2 will allow private server's to host the games, allowing us to hold an event.
Again, if and when this arrives expect a load of notice, and perhaps a small test of serenity before the event arrives.
Other Stuff
PRMM, Gibson's been raving about this for awhile, and whilst it might not be practical to have THN hold an event (due to it being a fully fledged mod). If there's plenty of interest (by the next version) then hopefully we'll be able to arrange for everyone to meet on public servers, and kick off in the same way BF2 did back in the day.
Differant Stuff
Mini-League The Mini-League will continue to be run by Piacular, the Mini-League will take priority above the stuff above, and therefore, everyone get involved in that as well!!, I'll let Piac explain any changes
Enemy Down The ED team after a good season (finished 2nd) under the leadership of Bambi (hats off y'all) will be resuming the battle in the new year, and maybe we'll be able to topple G,S (and if we do, expect a friendly lol ) But again, all that's under Bambi, so he can chat about that!
Anyhoo, I think that's anything and everything community wise, if you have any suggestion's, complaints, insults etc. Either PM or slap it here!
(also if anyone comes across any other interesting stuff, maps mods etc. Let the community know!)
