Is that it?? Geez, EA seems to be taking a minimalist approach. Less maps, less vehicles, less classes, less armies, less guns. I suppose the less they do, the less they get wrong.

Look this topic has nothing to do with your opinion of the game its just a topic about whos getting it, to tell you the truth I am sick of people slagging this game about every minor detail, if you have nothing productive to say then dont say anything at all (on this post). If you want to talk about your opinions of it then Im sure that would go well in "BF2142" topic.

More unlocks (40 instead of 7 or 14), more sqaud play (points for following orders), more game modes (titan), more awards (medals, badges, ribbons AND pins - with extra points for earning awards).

Not totally minimalistic , and I personally feel the four BF2142 classes are better than the 7 BF2 ones.

Yeah I've ordered it, I liked the game, just got bored with same map on beta version and the bug issues. Looking forward to play full realease thougth.

Seems to me that 2142 is more of an expansion pack for BF2 than a new game. I'll probably leave it for the time being and see how many bugs appear. Next on my list is Neverwinter Nights 2.
