Blood Bowl L2 Week 3

After last weeks pretty high scoring affairs and horrendous bloodbaths we can hope to see even more this week!

The games up coming are as follows for week 3.

Thatbloke VS Kasatka
Ghostwolf67 VS Dragon
Gombol VS Huung
Big D VS Panda with Issues
Velaphor VS Waterproofbob
Traxata VS Lucius101
Ronin_storm VS Comrade_phil

Remember we're going to let week three running until all its games are completed or until the 9th of January to allow for anyone to go away for christmas if they have to.

I'd like to say well done to everyone this week.

A full week played, with no games admin'd. Hopefully we can have a relaxing week 3 over and around christmas.

Obviously, the quicker we finish the week the better, but there's absolutely no pressure on that.

Big D: If you're available, I can play any evening from now til wednesday night i think.

Hey Vel, I'd prefer to play our game before the 24th if possible. Am away over Christmas and then completely afk for about 5 days over new year.

I have the day off tomorrow so if you are about hit me up.

I'm hopfully going back south for xmas tomorrow but it's a maybe with the weather, so i'll let you know but if not i'll defiantly be able to get it done by 24th.

Bring on the Dwarfs!

@CP - Could possibly do a match sometime tomorrow but Monday is not good. Other than that, most days, with a preference for before 17:00 or after 22:00.

This'll mean I've had both Lizardman teams right at the beginning of the league...

Kasatka: Should be around all day tomorrow (Sunday 19th) and in the evenings from 20th-23rd. From the 24th I'll be offline for 4-5 days but will be back from the evening of the 28th Dec and should be able to play any time after that :D

Well, mine and Big D's game ended in a 2-0 win to me, which wasn't very reflective of the game, or the first half at least.

D played a really intelligent first half, and started moving down the pitch, I had to match him move for move. THe only difference started when I knocked a few of his players into the dugout. The walking dead started to close in, and though he played very well, D couldn't stop me taking the ball off him, and scoring in the final turn.

The second half, D just didn't have enough players to stop me scoring. He almost leveled the game with a desperate throw, but it scattered a few squares away from his receiver, and a few rounds of fumbling and failed passes ended the game at 2-0.

D definitely has the hang of the vamps, just had some awful luck on armour rolls.

Just played my game against Kasatka, ended up as a 2-0 victory to me.

My goblins used their faces to neutralize the Orc offence quite admirably, and some VERY favourable kick off results in my favour (EVERY kick off I got the one where I was either able to have a full turn or move my players anywhere) meant that I was able to counter his tactics early.

both my touchdowns were scored very early in the match, I was 2-0 up within 5 turns, however kasatka then managed to stop my gobbos from running rings around him for long enough, and despite a late charge from a troll who was rather fortunate to pick up the ball, the score remained at 2-0.

I did, however, suffer yet another fatality for my troubles. That's 2 deaths sustained from only 3 matches so far! Fortunately none of my emerging star players were injured, however.

Anyone else having issue with BB? keep claiming i can't connect to the online servers cos it doesn't support my version of the game?

seems there's been some sort of patch but the new version isn't yet on steam ... which sucks ! so old version not supported, new version not available
