Cant download update

Hey so I am trying to download the update thingy and i cant i turned off my firewall etc im wonering would it be because i have the laptop plugged into my monitor? i have had this issue before and solved it turning off firewall.. so what gives??

the only thing that i can think of that can influence it, is firewall and virus scanner. If you already have disabled them, then i dunnoes.. but maybe you can look on battle.net. Maybe more people have the problem.

If someone here can post the wow version trying to be downloaded (i think assuming it is not a hotfix) you can google for the the file, and download it, or ask someone here to kindly host it for you to download via FTP, place in the correct folder for wow, and run wow, the patch file may even be possible to run it to apply it, i have no active wow sub so i am unable to find out the current version, though i tried googling what i believe it to be based on what is on MMO.

I got it and for anyone who had or might have the same problem as me heres what I did
1.Went to my wow folder
2.Opened it
3.Went to the wow.exe
4.Double clicked it
5.Logged in with password and authenticator key
6.Progressed with the update

So your problem was with the launcher?

I got it and for anyone who had or might have the same problem as me heres what I did
1.Went to my wow folder

3.Went to the wow.exe
4.Double clicked it

6.Progressed with the update

I actually had the same problem, Belf. Launcher.exe just wouldn't launch, and didn't even start a process which could be ended. wow.exe however, worked. Weird.
