I've realised that I haven't posted my E:TW woes in this thread so maybe the following will suitably put you off.
I played the game for around 10-12 hours in single player. I played the main "rise of America" campaign. After said hours, the game crashed. In crashing it not only lost me a bit of progress (which I could have won back) but also corrupted my save game. See previous 10-12 hours lost.
I've read each update report looking for the "save file corruption issue fixed" line and it has never appeared. I point blank refuse to buy/play a game where I can put so much time in and then lose it because my save was destroyed.
Sure, I should probably have had multiple saves. But this isn't 1992. We're past that sort of crap.
So, personally, I'd have taken it back to the shop. Except I bought it off Steam and the UK's distance selling regulations do not apply. So I deleted it and have never played it since.
Sure, it looks nice, and TW with guns actually works fairly well. Data corruption is unacceptable, however.
I'd say save your money and buy something worthwhile. World in Conflict, for example.
