Real shame that your save died on your Nanor! Did you scour the saves folder to make sure there are no lurking backups or anything?

I don't know how DF does its commit but I do know that there's an auto-save at the end of each year, but I don't think there are seasonal auto-saves configured at the moment.

Not so much. It's been the week from hell regarding game playing sessions, and it's not the sort of game that I can play for five or ten minutes...

I'll post what I have so far in a new thread, and you can decide if you want to give me more time, pick up mid year where I left off, or simply go back to Big D's save...
