This can be done with 3 healers on the first 3 fights. FC needs 3 imo. On the last boss it is ideal if healers can see who has the penetrating cold debuff, though watchout for the pressure when you're good enough for insanity >.<

Right, just so you now, 3.7k HPS as Holy, 3.2k as Disc.

Coolio, thats pretty much where you need to be able to sustain for ICC 10 and TotGC fights so tis good to know :)

I wouldn't like to sounds negative, but I maintained around 4.2k in VoA the other day and we were still having issues back in ToGC. Possibly this will improve with everyone being more aware of where they're standing, whether people are snobolled etc. For ICC, though, this is completely fine, at least the first wing is not very hard to heal, I find :)

I was in that fight also as healer, that was only for the Emalon fight. Some fights lend themselves well to spamminess and the numbers reflect that well. There were three healers all sustaining over 4k which in a 25 man raid is not that uncommon. And yep you definately put out some good healing in that fight - I was definately impressed :)

For 10 man raids and assuming less raid damage 3.5k hps sustained is a good target that will see you through most bosses. More is obviously better but thats a minimum bench mark I'm setting from the experience I have (excluding disc specs from this as the meters don't take mitigation into effect yet).

Yup, well, we will make it work eventually :) From what we've seen on that wipy night Disc+Resto actually worked better than Holy+Resto... When are we trying again, by the way? Or, you, provided I'm not included ;)

Not sure atm on the time - I'm having trouble finding a slot that will work for me. Worst case scenario I'll put a group toegether and exclude myself ... need to clear some things this afternoon but then I'll start pulling a group together from those that has expressed interest.

Don't exclude yourself, that would be silly :) Frankly, we have way too many healers interested and kinda too few dps, as far as I remember. Maybe go shadow? Maybe Elincia should go shadow? Maybe I should? Choices, choices.

Sorry for the late reply, I was away for a bit.

I have no problem with trying the hard modes. I know there seems to be an abundance of healers at the minute but I will throw my hat in nonetheless.

I have quite a nice dps :) do 4,9K in a 25 man, fully buffed but without flask :) So I would have no problem with dpsing in hard modes I guess

Right folks, firstly thanks for all showing interest. All in we have 20 players interested in this (and some more that didn't bother posting but said interested in TS conversations).

I've chosen the best group I can come up with based on a combination of gear score and raid utility. Only the best character/spec for each player was considered given the number of options available.

So onto the meat of the post, the first run will consist of the following players:

Tanks: Nactall and Lideon
Healers: Elauria (raid), Featherwind (tank), Soulhaven (if needed)
Ranged DPS: Enyá, Sabbath, Soulhaven (if not healing), Qantaqa
Melee: Janco, Sasser

Once they are confirmed as available this will be our first group. If anyone is not available then I'll notify a replacement from the rest that showed interest.

First raid will be stealing the Friday night spot this coming Friday 5th Feb. We'll start a little later than normal so you all get chance to rest up and grab some food after work. Start time will be 7pm GMT with invites starting 10 minutes before.

I'll get one of the WoW officers to post up a calendar event for this and sign up yes or no if you have been selected and maybe if you want to be a reserve.

Finally I've uploaded the spreadsheet I used so you can see who is where on the gear and spec's if you are interested:

Just something minor - that spreadsheet lists Madrak as feral DPS, when it should be feral tank... Unless I'm tanking the second group alone? xD

Ceratinly up for this!

I can ms dps or os heal - gs on both is above 5k

Only problem is i cant do fridays if this becomes a regular friday raid
