[i37] THN T-Shirts

Ok, who wants a THN t-shirt to wear at the LAN?

The link to the spreadshirt shop in the THN hoodies thread seems to have died...

Myself, Solemn and Silk are all wanting to get a THN t-shirt for i37, and I was going to go to a local t-shirt printing store on Saturday and make an order for a shirt each for us, but I thought some of you lot might want one too!

So... my proposed design, based on bob's post in the THN hoodies thread, would look like the following:

on the back:

then on the front (in the left breast area) would be

[THN]

In terms of colours, I think a simple black polo shirt with white text would fit the bill perfectly.

I'm debating whether or not we could get a mini version of the THN tree printed above the text on the front too, I think that would be quite funky considering the amount of text on the back. But to do this I would also need a good 2-colour version of the tree to use for this purpose (to make it easier for printing).

I haven't got a quote from where I am intending on getting them done but I would expect that they would be around the £15-£20 mark...

If interested, reply back to this thread and I will order you one on Saturday which I will pick up on Thursday on my way up to stoneleigh with Solemn.

I'll need to know what name you want on there on the back, including Capitalisation if you prefer it with/without capital letters and also what size you want. I'm going for standard plain black men's polo shirts (even for the ladies - but ladies can get away with wearing men's clothes with no problems anyway).

Any comments or further ideas on the design? Also, would anyone be able to come up with a decent 2-colour version of the tree to use for the logo? (PS this would be a transfer and not embroidered as embroidery can take weeks to get done).

So the customisation is all on the front, and then only one line.

I don't like the ones from the place is Ronin is getting his from found it very uncomfortable especially over the period of a LAN.

I'm happy with blokes lay out.

Errrr if they only do an XL then I'll pass. I might have a look in Soton for a printing place. Or I'll give it a miss.

Basically if you look at it and think, hmm a small village could sleep in that then you off to a good start.

The layout which you've proposed TB is (I believe) the one Trax used for his t-shirt also...
I also bought one a while back when that thread popped up, so I'm sorted - mine is actually glow in the dark too I think

If you shrink it (for the upper left breast area) and stick [THN] under, doesn't look too bad actually

You'd have to tell me which font you are using, just used Courier here.

Here ya go. I prefer courier though - cleaner, and used by many programming languages by default so a good geek reference.

Had to make this one a bit whiter as the N was going really wonky otherwise.

Rounded edges would require anti-aliasing, which cannot be done in 2-colours
(this is why courier works better)

On one of the Havenmeets we wrote THN in the sand in big letters at the beach and managed to get the \ going / ....looked so screwy .

There's a series in there than can be used for HDR if you're feeling creative (its what I took them for anyway )

I think I might well take you up on this as I will (shock and horror) probably be wearing casuals to i37 (stupid summer being so humid).

"Xarlaxas" is my handle of course. The tree is funky. :3
