[i40] Venue Layout, Sign-in Changes and Tournament Matrix

Figured this was big enough to warrant its own thread.

If you're planning on entering tournaments, you can see what ones you will be able to enter by checking the tournament matrix (as a number of tournaments will, of course, clash).

For Newbury Veterans, there are big changes to the layout in terms of where we sign in, and also the location of the showers (being moved to the camping area, though the J****y S*****s will likely still be available if you know where to look ;))

Signing in will now happen at the turnstiles inbetween the car park/camping areas and the main entrance to the Berkshire, which, thinking about it, is a much better place for it. Additionally, we'll be able to drive our cars up next to the various buildings to help with unloading our gear :D

Uhm, what?

On a different note, are we in the Berkshire stand?

Also, I have a clean, new sack trolley for the express purpose of moving tower units around for this event. Happy for THNers to use it when I'm not.

Jockey Showers.

A secret! Just like the F*** S*** at Stoneleigh!

and yes, we're in the Berkshire, 3rd floor.

yea there's some "secret" showers inside the Berkshire stand itself - you have to go outside to get to them though...

If you pay Spectator price then yes; non participants can enter the security fence otherwise, NO ADMITTANCE! ;)

If thats the case, then Ill have to carry my PC from the car park, rather than the drop off area since my other half is giving me a lift and then buggering off home, and she wont have a ticket to get in.

I might appreciate a sack truck :p

Give me a shout when you arrive and, worst come to worst, we load into my car and then drive you in.

So the camping is now miles away, and they reversed the main road /entrance/exit.

Weird but fair enough

mmmm a bit annoying that my favourite camping area is now not available and is just one large camping area=more noise. Or the smaller one next to the red rooms of smelly death which also = more noise.

Also means camping will be a bit of a trek. Oh well we shall have to see how it goes.

In fairness is in no way miles, is a short distance but one of the joys of newbury before was rolling out of a tent into the venue almost :D.

Is really not that far at all we are just lazy.
