While i specifically do not fear anything being stolen, though my keyboard(g15) being oop is a bit of a pain, my case is lockable if one doesnt have a screw driver, but then if one had a screwdriver one could go around the lock >.<

I shall write my name on my hardware, i think a black marker will be adequate, and tbh as long as a hve a stable back up, i dont think anything (besides the keyboard :( ) is irriplaceable.

G15's are quite securable athough as thye have 2 rather pointless handles.

You must have a passport, as you've left the country :p

You get given two stickers upon entry of the iseries for your monitor and your case (they match your lanyard badge). If you're trying to leave with your items then they check your monitor and your case for those stickers :)

What if one has neither?

then get one :p Passports only take a few weeks. Driving licences..... probably similar?

As said above, you can get 2 stickers for your montior and tower which are always checked, but apart from that, you wont get checked for peripherals. Having your name written on them somewhere will only help if the person stealing them gets caught, and you "thats got my name on", otherwise noone will check.

For all intents and purposes, my passport is held by someone who lets just say wont let me have it for this.

Haha, i actually put my name on them so they dont get swapped, i had not even considered it for the purposes of theft.

they do take other photo id, i used my Uni id for the first one i attended, though something like the citizen card that ronin mentioned would also work

You ask that as if you think there is something wrong with this situation. Also, wheres the question :P

The problem is: You don't have any photo ID to hand for i42 :p

Question is: Howcome "You're 23 and don't hold your own passport?"

:D

Guess Ki!ler-Mk1 won't be making any quick escapes to a country with no extradition treaties if things go wrong at i42 :D

I carry my computer on a train all the way from london on the 2 tubes and 2/3 trains as well as my tent and all my sleeping stuff

ive never been asked for my id (not a good excuse not to take it though)

I think they are refering to id for the event itself, ill work something out.

The ID multiplay require is any forms of valid photo id to prove who you are. Driving license or passport. You will not be allOwed to check in at i42 without any
