I feel there's some form of claim against the school to be had here. The BBC is a publicly funded news source, blocking the BBC has to be against some form of rule?

Not ALL of it, just alot of the 'specialist' pages, like the tech section of it.

It's still the BBC, and none of it should be blocked, The BBC (due to it's unique funding) is supposed to be completely without bias (sure some of the editor's sway a little here and there) but I'd make a complaint to the school.

Well, it hasn't really been a problem for me yet, but I'm surprised Wikipedia isn't blocked. The amount of people who copy pasta from that and swap a few words around is amazing, let alone the fact most of them go unnoticed.

I'd mod vBulletin so I can ctrl+click on someones name and have it open their profile IN A NEW TAB LIKE IT SHOULD RATHER THAN IT EATING UP THE CURRENT TAB WHICH I HAVE A HALF TYPED POST IN.

You know if you navigate away from the page and you've typed half a post you can go back, press quick reply and press control + Z a few times and it brings it back.

I didn't know about that shortcut... I always had just right-clicked and selected 'Open in new tab'. Take this cookie as a sign of my thanks, kind sir.

I dont have a middle mouse button as most of the time im on my laptop, which only has left and right.

didnt know about the control z thing 2bh, but whichever way, control clicking should still open a link in a new tab! At least this way I can now recover from the problem even if it doesnt get rid of the problem in the first place . Ta nanor!

You can still right click and choose 'Open in new tab'
