I cannot find anything about player numbers, having seen 64 player CS games I'm assuming that may be an upper limit. Anyone have any info ?

Ah, found some more concrete answer to this...

The current feature being worked on, that will most likely be the one in release, includes 2 potential squads for each team (8 players in a squad).

That'll make for 16v16 games, i.e. a 32 player server.

Apparently, the odds are decent that Insurgency will be released this weekend.

Unfortunately, I'll be out all Saturday and working on my CV much of Sunday; I'll see what I can do to get a server up through next week, if the release goes ahead as planned.

Well downloaded last night and joined a game, chose marksman and spawned. Next thing I know there is a Enemy in our spawn room right in front of me who shoots me dead in one shot. Spawn again, it happens again. Spawn.... manage to get out of the room and into the road. See noone die.

Fun so far .
