so the weekend after Easter i'll be in Sot'on for the Grandparents golden wedding anniversary. I should be arriving between 8 and 9 on the friday evening and definitely have that evening (9th april) and probably some of Sat to kill, is anyone who's down that direction going to be around that weekend and fancy doing something save me from being driven insane by the family?

My problem with coming to southampton that late on a Friday is that I'd need somewhere to crash for a night, would someone (bob?) be able to offer me a sofa or something to sleep on?

I was thinking of maybe doing some board games on that weekend, though probably Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Mostly depends on my mood, which is exceedingly fractious at the moment. Bit of a limit on how many that can handle, though... still, would be good to see you.

so travel is now all finalised, i'll be getting in between 8 and 9 on friday 9th, have to head off about 4PM Sat to meet Grandparents, and then am flying back from Southampton at 8PM on Sun, so looks like Sunday afternoon is all clear for awesome!

So I've been looking at my calendar, and it turns out I might be FREE that Friday evening. As I can now drive, I might be able to steal Emski's car to get myself down. This would of course mean that you would have to go to pilgrim house with me, but you know

Unfortunately I'll need to leave that evening as I have ZORBING in London the next day, but meh. Any OBJECTION!s?

There is still the games @ Ronin's on sunday And I may be there all day, too (or drive up on the saturday somehow lie, cheat and steal my way into bob's home and end up toppled over on his floor (or his chair and fart on it)

Ya. For games on said Sunday...

My priorities are:

• Play board games with Panda before he disappears for a month
• Play Galactica with Ghostwolf because he contributed to buying it for me but still hasn't got to play it
• See Iron Fist cause he lives so far away

To make the first happen, I need 8 or less players, preferably 7 or less to open up the options (only got one 8 player game).

To make the second happen, I need absolutely no more than 7 players including me and Rojaws.

I can provide a bed for one, plus probably a floor for another, without getting silly.

Food is a possibility but Rojaws can find that pretty difficult; Chinese is never going to work for her. That said, we could just pass on that bit and that would be fine.

Board games are on a "bring your own lunch/dinner" arrangement, unless we went out to Nando's or something (where I know Rojaws can get a reasonable salad).

I'm quite happy to pass on the games due to timings and whatnot. That said, I'm equally happy to come and sit and watch others play games, it's really fine with me. Either way, this day is more of an "I haven't seen people for ages and would like to make some face time" affair, so I'm pretty happy with whatever Meeting somewhere for food, meeting somewhere not for food, whatever! So please don't, anyone, feel pressured into trying to fit me in for anything!

How about we go somewhere for lunch on the Sunday, allowing what elD called "face time" - this can accomodate any number of people. Then we have board games in the afternoon, allowing Iron Fist to catch his flight and elD can then choose to stick around or whatnot - do we have a rock solid idea on numbers for stuff yet?
