Well, the whole board games conflict business was a ruse as that was Easter Sunday and not this coming weekend. That said, this coming weekend isn't a great one for me.

sorry been rather busy with a nice little trip home over easter weekend, but now back and back to work.

as i'll not be in till reasonably late on the Fri i think the plan of sunday lunch sounds awesome. given that i don't have to be at the airport till 8PM, there is plenty of time in the afternoon if people want to just appear for a little while.

anyways i need to crash so will probably write some more at lunch tomorrow

Just got to Waterloo, and it seems that all trains around Eastleigh are fooked this weekend, just so you know. Dunno if that affects anyone, but be aware of bus journeys of DOOOOOOOM!

so after a brief chat with bloke yesterday the suggestion was Pilgrim House for lunch a bit after 1 on Sun.
any objections or suggestions for elsewhere or later/earlier?
tbh i'm good with food and company so whatever is good for me

As no-one else seems to want to make a decision, and people (me, elDiablo, maybe others) have travel plans to make, I would like to propose the following:

1.30pm at Pilgrim House for Chinese buffet. This is "just after 1" as Iron puts it and leaves plenty of time either side for travel/other social engagements.

Any objections?

Anyone think its worth booking a table at all. Not sure how busy it gets on a sunday lunchtime, but I know that random days at the start of the week can be booked up a cupla days in advance at times.

Yeah, I've not got any mode of transport I am in the process of thinking about looking into buying a car! So, er, next time should be good. This makes me sad
