That is alot of something, and alot of words too.

I tried to googlesearch THN for that thread/series of posts, about alot, but apparently google search brings up "a lot" when you search for "alot". So there were a lot more results than their should be. Though, since someone (i wonder who)posted on here those pics about the big hairly alot, i always think before writing "alot".

Yeah if Wol could stop train wrecking perfectly good threads because he is a massive pedant that would be super.

I was actualy hoping as I can't get online much easily to learn lots about Telford and for a second we almost managed it. So good job Wol for derailing it and can we get back on track. As none of us other than Danie have actually been there a bit of prior knowledge is king. I was always amazed how many times old vets or locals from Newbury would pull some gem out about the local area.

I must admit a morbid fascination about the titanic burger and am at least going to go to that place and have a look. I'd also be well up for a curry trip, I found last time just getting up and telling people I was going somewhere and there were welcome to come works better than trying to plan an outing as everyone gets all terrified at the commitment involved in going out for dinner.

Also I LOVE CURRY, on the condition that Trax is not allowed to come. His farts are enough ot kills a man when he has eaten nothing but the blandest food. I dread to think how his toxic bowels would deal with something more exotic.

I think having Danie there will be awesome (not just for getting Danie back) a bit of local knowledge goes a long way. We shall only eat at the finest crap takeaways Telford has to offer.

Also Danie you will be pleased to hear that now we aren't all penniless students anymore the quality of the BBQs has increased dramatically. Which as a result also means there is less burnt stuff. For Wol on that one back in the day when it was the original lot of us (i29,i32,i33) we BBQ'd pretty much every meal with the occasional pizza as it was much more cost effective.

I'm finding I'm gaming less and less at LANs of late where there's not been any particularly big titles. As such getting out and socialising with you lot suits me fine.

Also may I suggest now that we aim more for lunch/daytime outing as everyone tends to like to settle in of an evening.

Which bit is the evening again? The hours we keep, the evening tends to be our body clock's lunch time anyway - or at least for me personally.

I don't mind going out at lunch time, but I won't be anywhere near as hungry then as I would be later in the day.

That is a fair point, I guess LAN lunchtime would be more 4-5 o'clock. Just trying to get in before everyone settles in for the evening as once everyone is in it can be rather tricky to extricate them.
