nah it is a guild warws night and theres not so many of them so i would go to that instead of this,maybe another night then i would def go!

Well I only want to organise this if theres a strong intrest in it, and according to the other thread there are at least 12 people who would be up for going to a night, but all I hear at the moment from some people is that they cant be bothered to download the map packs, or generally not intrested.

C'mon guys.
These maps are ace.
In many ways a lot better than the original maps, that are now getting a bit dated.
The new maps have been designed by bf2 fanatics, and it shows, as the level of detail and gameplay is superb.
At the very least, please download Map packs 2+3 (about 402 mb in total size), as these are the most popular online.

If like me you have all the unlocks, and are getting tired of the same idiots and poor teamplay you find every night on the Publics.
Then try something different.

And if that doesnt convince you, then....
They have 'Strike at Karkand 2' (map pack 2).

Very true, these maps are a nice change from the standard BF2 maps which to be honest are getting very repetitive. I think these maps are a good example of what we can be expecting from the total conversion mods coming out for BF2, as a lot of hard work has been put into these. So just download 2 +3 and we can own on a public! :)

Weds = Mini-league match night
Thurs = Friendly V [C4]

Though I'd be up for it, furthermore "i'll be attending" is for calender thingys.

I've been thinking about this, we're rarely able to field a turnout of more than 12, regardless of whether it's a praccy or a match or whatever. So how about this; arrange with another clan to join in with us, I'll ask syline from [TC] if they'll be interested at least then we'd be able to get a big turn-out, like plus 20.

yeah that would be very good. I think its probably better if one of the bf2 admins organises a night to play because a week seems pretty full. Atm it looks like for the majority of people:

Monday: Free
Tuesday: (Busy) BF2 Practice night
Wednesday: (Busy) Reason above
Thursday: (Busy) Reason above
Friday: (Not many people are in on Friday night ;) lol)
Saturday: (Busy) Not that many people come on and play BF2 and also there is a Civ4 night going on
Sunday: (Busy) Regular Clan Matches

Yeah this week is pretty full up. I'd suggest next week anyway so that everyone's downloaded and ready.

However whilst getting two clans to join in will mean a big-ole turnout, it does mean a lot of hastle. Presuming no-objection from Haven or otherwise, If they likey, I'll send them links for the Serenity Mirror.

The important thing though, is which map pack? We can't run all three, so which one is the most loved? 1/2/3? (this decision I want to be made by Gibson and Gizmo, as they've played the most)

Unless there's a conflict, I'd expect this to probably run 2 weeks today. :p

Well I would say Map pack 2 if we had to run only one of them, but I thought you can run more than one? The totalbf2 euro server runs both map pack 2 and 3.
