Well, I've just pre-oredered this on play.com! I can't wait to join the fray! Gibbo, I suppose you chose Holy Roman Empire as that's Germany? ;)

I dunno what I'll choose.. I might go something middle-eastern. I can stand up to the crusades!

Yes how right you are ;). However I would not recommend them as a first time campaign as they are very hard to play as. You start off with the pope hating you and a bunch of nations bordering you that want your land :(

Oh yes and Nanor the middle eastern (Islamic) army's are the Turks, Egypt and the Moors, however you have to unlock them to play as them, but if you want to get around that then give me a shout and you can unlock them automatically.

Hmm, you'd think the Holy Roman Empire would be liked by the Pope! ;)

Nah, I suppose I'll start with France maybe. Not quite sure..

Well I have made a comic book-esque type story of a little adventure in the jungles of mexico! (And I am very sorry about the bad quality of the photos (Compression :()! click on them and it will look slightly better. Also is there anyway around this, such as putting them all on one webpage in order in a decent size?)

No manual :S :(

I just got this game, and i am enjoying it, and i am doing every battle myself, but i have a few problems, due to there being no manual in the box, or as far as i can see; the cd's, i am really unable to play the game, since i cant tell what some of the agents do, ie priest, merchant, i dont know how to wield the deplomacy, and half the missions are incompletable because i dont know how to do them, and of course i dont know how to make floriens so i go bankrupt quickly every time, and lastly the building planner is hard to follow, so as much as i try to enjoy i cant, the final straw is the mission "regicide(kill french king)" - ive tried bashing him in on the battle map, and on autofight, and i just get a msg "mission failed he died on his own, even though i killed him".

Anyone know where i can get a manual for this game?

Few links I've found.

Game FAQ's guide

And some other probably useful ones that aren't really manual-related:

FAUST 1.2
FUSIL 1.2

But a scout of links on Google tell me you should have received a 72 page manual, a map and a building planner in the box. Go to the shop and ask them for that stuff if it's not in the box (or email them or whatever).

Thanks ronin!

I just took a look on the pirate bay, and some of the torrents had links including:

Medieval II Total War Manual:
http://www.steampowered.com/Manuals/4700/manual.pdf

Medieval II Total War Kingdoms Manual:
http://www.steampowered.com/Manuals/4780/manual_en.pdf

one of the downsides of play.com, they dont care, nor know if there should or should not be a that stuff in the box

Though relevant... hard to say if it's really necromancy if the question seems to belong in the original thread.
