Chu, I don't know how the levels work but it was this way when I found it. However, it should be more stable now.

Right, the monsters are enabled but this release is currently bugged so that monsters can't damage you and you can't damage monsters. Except with fire and drowing, I believe. I'll leave them in there so when an update does make them dangerous we can all run round screaming like little girls or something.

Trax, that's just how the game is for now. Everything is invincible and monsters are off by default. That is likely to change eventually.
EDIT: And Ronin, I'd turn the monsters back off. Creepers still explode and destroy stuff, and there's no way to stop them as they're invincible

Woah, invincible creepers. That almost sounds awesome.
But I'll be good and turn the monsters off. Hadn't considered the ramification of invincible creepers.
Server rebooted. Monsters now off and server no longer set public so you need to know the server address (promethius.thehavennet.org.uk) or have the web link.

Of the above, only Overviewer requires particular things (Python libraries). The others should just drop in.

All 3 look pretty awesome to me.
What's the plan with the sever? Are we playing "legit" and not allowing admins and OPs to give players items? Or playing just for fun and allowing things like TNT cannons/arrowbombs? (Not the griefing kind, but a lack of creepers means no TNT, which means no cannons)

Well, we're playing "mostly legit". Trax is probably the worst offender for cheating, mostly with TNT, but I've built a small igloo that clearly can't be built normally.
If we want to do mad things then we could look at throwing up an insanity server but let's stick with the one we've got for now and try not to break it too much.

It wont stay active for long, mainly as that server is going to be blotted soon.
Few points:
Multiplayer server fails with minecarts as far as I know. Admittedly I've not had a chance to test it on prom, but I know my server didnt like them. Redstone dust also doesnt seem to work very well either. Guessing this is going to be updated in a future thing, but to warn you: each time we tried to place minecarts / track, all the clients seem to die a horrible death: so dont

I'd have stuck it on my server, but I dont really have the bandwidth for it on a home ADSL connection!
