When I learned Pascal, we used paper and pens.

And then send it off to the keypunch op and get your deck of cards back ;-)

I did Higher computer in my 5th year of High school, that was amusing, we used VB6 I think it was, and also had to do "advanced" things like running a virus scanner and accessing the internet. -_-

All my programming experience before I did A level computing was in VB (2 4 and 6. went for the evens!), so was a bit of a pain to change to delphi for that. Would have much preferred to do VB6! Although now I know c#, its much nicer!

Although I'm guessing in terms of visual languages, delphi suites will probably be cheaper than microsofts VB.

Egads, no! That's what both my parents used to do for a living, ages ago.

I'm 36, not 66!
