New Construction - Near U81 - HMS Ark Royal

So as some of your are aware I am having a shot at constructing HMS Ark Royal (91) from the same WWII era as ronin's U81.

The area is surrounded by a very large dry dock (200*50) PLEASE try to avoid knocking holes in the side of it!

Those side/front/top schematics will really help in actual construction. I found that once I was past the drydock digging, I was constantly referring to Type VII construction plans. Originally planned a Type IX, but there wasn't very much (generically) available.

Oh, protip: you may find your dry dock needs to be deeper than you think. I think I eventually dug down 8-9 blocks.

I'm 10 down, which allows for a depth of 8 which is waterline to keel and then 2m spare

i recognise those...

i'm fairly sure that model is in some museum in Sot'on is it not. remember going there with my granddad when i was wee and being told all about the boats. He worked at Vosper's so was rather knowledgeable on that front
