Use a real torrent program by using the .tor file in your Cache folder. Much faster.

I kinda made the original post as a spur-of-the-moment thing when I read the news that the third part of 4.0.1 had gone onto the background downloader; we're getting very close now. There was a PTR patch this morning which was a small number of minor class changes; give it a week or two more, I reckon, and we're there.

Also, as suggested, I will sticky this thread.

Finally; there have been some rumblings about Reforging making it into 4.0.1. I'm really not sure about that yet, since it was just a short reference on one site, no major announcements or confirmations or anything that I've yet seen.

I think it will be at the very least 3 weeks away - according to what I just read on mmo-champion the current Arena season 8 is going to end on October 12 - I can't see them them releasing anything as game-changing as 4.0.1 until that is over and done with, and I would expect at least a week's gap so they can correctly figure out all the rewards before all the honor/arena points (or whatever else) get converted to the newer style currencies.

Well, according to mmo-champion, Cata's due for December 7th. And they will be having the last bit of the current arena season under 4.0.1. So that one should be here within the next two weeks as well.

Actually Thatbloke ghostcrawler was also quoted on MMO that 4.01 would come in BEFORE the end of season 8. The last week of the season is all about totting up the scores, so it could come in that week.

So 4.01 should be either next week or the week after.
