Hmmmm, I was round at my mates house playing his PS3 yesterday. He showed me the Japanese Final Fantasy XIII trailer, and I have to say it looked ay-mazing in 1080p on a 42inch screen, mindblowing. I was thinking about buying a PS3 when GT5 comes out, then I decided not to bother, but after seeing that ... if the PS3 price happens to drop at all anytime soon then I'd definitely get one in. I don't share D's enthusiasm about its future, though.
Oh, and also tried Uncharted 1. Pretty good, but a pretender to Tomb Raider's crown, I would say.

It wouldn't feel right, playing a Final Fantasy game on any console and with any controller other than Sony's.

screw feeling right, if it's a good game I'll play it whatever the console.
It just so happens that in this gamer's opinion the PS3 is a crap gaming platform
Thing is, for that "feeling right" don't you end up making a £40 game into a £320 game?
Not in my books.

I'm not buying a PS3 solely for FFXIII, but I am buying it for Gran Turismo 5, Killzone 2 and any other tasties that might appear on it. That being the case, given the choice of purchasing it for X360 or PS3, I would choose the familiarity of the PS3 and its dual shock controller.

Actually all of you with PS3's add me.
And for hotstuff so far the only PS3 game i know of with Mouse and Keyboard controls so far is Unreal Tournament 3 is definatly gives you and advantage.
The features PS3's have are getting better i like vidzone thats a good free app for music video streaming.
I havnt been on THN in a while so if im repeating anything sorry.

Also from what i know of. Only FFXIII Vurses or whatever the other one is, is PS3 exclusive. I have not looked at it in a while but thats what i hurd last mind this was months ago.
