http://www.bogdanlazar.ro/wallpaper/add_hit.php3?imagine=Laputa.jpg is my current wallpaper, with my homedir on serenity down i cba to make a screenshot and upload it. I like it because it reminds me of rustboy, and the robot's pose is oddly human, and it's just a damn fine render.

I've grouped the icons (no grid alignment, that sucks), and adapted my colour scheme to the colours of the sky and the rust. Selections are green. I feel it all combines really well, i'll probably keep it for many months still.

My desktop.

It's a lovely shot of a Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT, following my trend of car desktops. I love how the silver task bar goes nicely with the palette. Also, notice all the broken shortcuts

At work, we have several workstations, so I have a different desktop pic for each A Murcielago R-GT front and rear, Koenigsegg CCR, Ford GT90, Lamborghini Diablo GT and a Ferrari F50 GT.

Actually, I think I changed the Diablo GT to a Gallardo SE.

I used to array my shortcut in rings around the desctop image spiraling inwards; got to 3 full rings, and a blank second monitor; now i have folders full of shortcuts, much more organised.

I had that before - all shortcuts in a folder - but I just never used the folder... So it got deleted Those icons are ones I use regularly. Games in the top right, windows stuff in the top left, folders of stuff in the bottom left, and work-ish stuff in the bottom right I clear the desktop of unused stuff once a week (as I download to desktop all the time).

Its worth noting that that is my games user account. My work one is plain grey, with a LOT fewer icons, no games, instead top right is folders of work
