I would suggest uninstalling the PR server from promethius to see if that solves the problem, becuase IIRC the same problems occur on PR, but were not present before we put the 2142 server on top of it.

I've shut the PR server down for now. It's out of date (needs a 0.61 upgrade) and wasn't being used. Give the 2142 server another try?

On the server financial info side of things, I find it hard to understand the "real total, actual total" stuff on the home page.

Drat.

As THN's money all comes from donations, I'm trying to be as open about the situation as possible. So, the money in the THN kitty is €404.94. However, we've not paid any bills since July 2007 so we've actually spent August and September's money from that kitty, notionally. Hence the "real" total of €242.72 (404.94 - (2 * 81.11)).

I'm up for suggestions on a different way to put that.

I know how to set up the subscription, i was just hoping there was possibly another way to donate other than paypal, because i hate paypal, and know of a few people whom ... "hack" accounts and steal monies

At the moment, our monies are all held in PayPal. Theoretically, vBulletin's subscriptions system allows us more options but every transfer of money loses us a small percentage and so we're not keen to diversify our subscription options given that overhead. Not to mention the practical overhead of managing different payment accounts.

Hmm, i could in theory do a standing order to haven or yourself, ronin, and have you do it for me ? i just really don't want to go back into paypal, i removed my account for a reason

Sorry mate, the main reason for a seperate paypal account (managed by fury) is to avoid a conflict of interest and confusion for myself. Direct money contributions obviously fly in the face of this. We've got the separation to keep everything above board and transparent

I'm willing to look at alternatives such as the google payment system but bear in mind this would force everyone to change the way they do things.

Hmm, If its too much fuss, i'l use a mates paypal, and just give them some coin every once in a while

Oh dear server funds critcally low....I feel guilty.... ...... have taken out 10 Euros / month subscription.
