Pretty solid song list i guess. Theres the usual alternative chaff and... oh joy Amy Winehouse but there are alot of winners in there to balance it out.

The keyboard perplexes me. For many reasons in fact. Are you actually going to be able to have 5 people playing on one screen at a time? Thats going to be one cluttered screen. If so what happens when you stop playing the 5 player rock band and want to play a FPS which will be 4 player? One person has to watch or be cast out to go for snacks. The horror.

Having been forced play the keyboard alot in my childhood as my parents desperately struggled to find a musical instrument to which i would have some natural affinity toward (was happy to dissapoint them) i know that a keyboard isnt necessary for some of those songs in the listings. Are they just going to make some bullshit up for the keyboard player to do? Like that tap thing they get the singer to do during instrumentals when a real lead singer should be stage diving or some other noble duty.

From what I've seen so far, they aren't going to shoehorn the keyboard in to songs that don't need it. They discussed being able to filter by songs that do or do not have keyboard parts as well. RB2 has songs with no vocal part, so it seems they aren't too worried about people having to sit out the odd song.

And yeah, they've shown screenshots of 4 instrument boards side by side, so 5 players almost certainly. That likely means one of the instruments needs to act as the vocal controls as well or something.

I have to say, for all the effort they put into making drummers and guitarists look like they're actually playing, the guy sure looks like a robot playing the keyboard.

At this point, the official word is that you can have four players "scored" at the same time. You can have a fifth on vocals, but they won't be playing in the traditional sense.
