Well as this seemed to be forgotten i thought I'd make a quick update on what hath gone on so far.
I cba to go through all those ppl who are out so I'll merely list those mighty few who are still in as of 1730 today. France will be gone by tonight but hey.
Nanor's England Have beaten the Australians to advance to the Semis (well done boys well played)
Big_D's NZ are blasting all and will no doubt beat France tonight
Twisto's France will be out tonight
Thatbloke's RSA are looking good
Wraith's Fijians will have to bring theit game to beat RSA
Taffy's Scotland may be alright against Argies.
DocBot's Argies could beat the Scots
I reckon Scotland Argentina will be the next exciting Quarter.

Poor Scotland. Poor, poor Scotland. Far too many mistakes, particularly by the Lamont brothers and Dan Parks, so overall Argentina probably were deserving victors. However, Scotland did show a bit of promise late in the 2nd half, it's a shame they didn't try to push that hard the whole match. I was also quite impressed by the subs, especially Smith who was quite a driving force in the middle of the park. Ah well, it's all over now.

It's hard to say, there would have been a lot of disagreement whichever way it went. Like I said in the shoutbox, I would've given it Englands way, but more from a game excitement point of view, and for Taits mazy run to get it up there in the first place - that was true NFL running back type stuff.

Gah wrote a big thing then lost it so I'm going to have to start all over again,
I'm currently trying not to feel bitter as over the comp RSA were defo the better side but I really thought our turn around from no hopers to serious competitors was so beautiful.
In reference to the sweepstake my plan was for 2nd to give rep to 1st and then I would give wooden spoon rep to the loser.
So congrats to bloke and honest heart felt dissapointment for nanor.
Also well done DeZ for being with Namibia getting a stunning 0 points.

Heh, I always get that too, like if you try and enter a symbol with alt-keypad and forget to put num lock on it sometimes kicks me back a page. Ive learned to ctrl-c big bits of text now as I type them so I dont lose it
