signing up for raids

I have been trying to sign up for fridays and saturdays raid...I have characters in my profile but it doesnt seem to want to let me.

All I see when I try to sign up is a submit button which doesnt seem to do anything when clicked and a link to add characters to my profile. Probably something I am doing wrong but if someone could tell me what

Not sure what you could possibly be doing wrong... The characters are clearly on your profile, and that's the message it's supposed to show when someone doesn't have any profile characters.

I'll have to mess with it a bit.

Gidean was having the same problem, and he's got his characters properly set up in his profile.

Ok, I'm pretty stumped on this one. Juba, I've removed the characters from your profile and added them back. Let me know if that helps at all.

Otherwise, I'll keep digging.

Stupid question, you haven't got Javascript disabled or something like that?

(dunno if that would affect the submit button though.......)

Give it a try in a different web browser and see if you get the same problem.

I just created 2 WoW Events, for Saturday I signed as "Yes", pressed submit and then the list of people appeared and I was on it.

For Friday's Event, I pressed "Yes, Late", entered a comment and then pressed submit.

Nothing appeared to happen - the player list does not appear with the "Yes-Late" section, although if I re-visit the page by going through the calendar my signup info is saved (i.e. it remembers that I pressed "yes-late" and also my comment).

EDIT: Someone has now signed as Yes on the Friday event, and I have appeared too. It would appear that the player list does not get displayed if no-one has signed up as yes...

Interesting... Good catch. I'll take a look and see if anyone else has reported that.

Could everyone else trying signing up to this week's events and post in here if you run into an issue? (Besides, I know the officers would love having everyone sign up. )

Still cant sign up, still no change in whats happening either

Something else I just noticed, the character "Temist" is appearing in the list twice for our Friday event.

The second entry does not list his forum handle next to his character, however.

Juba, Gidean, I checked your profiles to see if hairbelle's fix would work for you. Sadly, you both already had the field capitalized.


BUT. I did some extra investigation based on what we figured out there. It seems it was an issue with matching the first part of the field. "EU|Scars..." works, but "EU |Scars..." doesn't, it seems. I've taken the liberty of removing the space from your profiles. Please give it a try now.
