Keeping it up and using it once a week could mean it would be used when we're not on it once a week. People come on when we play, think this is a good server and then hop on, even if we're not on.

I think you'll find that didn't happen last time. What's different now?

If I recall correctly when the green server was up it was one of the top 100 servers in the UK for average amount of players. I've checked now but the server appears to be down.

Well, Ronin, would you mind updating the server if it was used at least once a week for our TF2-Mc-Wednesdays and possibly more by randoms or us hopping on the server?

It's not a small piece of work. I'll also need to look at updating whatever admin mod it uses, which are notoriously badly documented.

I'll have a look. If it's easy, I'll update. If it's not, I'll not unless someone else steps up to take on the ongoing maintenance.

I've updated the servers and brought Purple back online. I've not tested it, nor tested the admin mod, so you guys will need to check those things out.

I might put my hand up and offer to help admin / update it if people fancy. I adminned a css server a cupla years ago and its essentially the same exe

Just played there and a good few people jumped on.

Points of notice:
Maps end abruptly. Gravel Pit ends after one win. Dustbowl ends after you cap one point. Waiting for players time is far too long.

Any word on getting our server fixed? It would be quite nice to use it and at the minute we can't!

to be honest i'm a little stumped as to why it's doing what it's doing, the output is showing what i'd expect so i'm going to have to trawl through all the config stuff see if i can spot what has gone awry
