I thought this may have been a bug for me, but it seems it's not. This has been going on some time (across various versions). All images, click to enlarge.

Here you can see the subscribe to all option is set:

Here I am in a channel:

Then when switching I am unsubscribed from the channel I was in:

This can be rectified by the right click menu, but it is not automatically kept subscribed as with other TS servers I have used:

There is no button for manage subscriptions on my menu, i do not havethis problem, is it a new thing for you? (Ver 3 beta 36 B12815)

Could the problem be with your teamspeak identities, eg the files are read only or something?

This is not a new thing, and has been happening for some time. It was only through talking with Auryn that it came to light that it wasn't just a quirk of my installation. I can't account for the difference in options. This has been across multiple versions of the TS3 client; the current one I am on being:
Code:
Version:	3.0.0-rc1 [Build: 14345]
Qt Version:	4.7.2
As for the files being ready only etc. it was using the TS3 installation method (with su -) so I assume it set up permissions correctly. To note, this unsubscribing issue does not happen for me on other TS servers I have been on.

We know what the problem is, I tried to fix it over the weekend but was getting insufficient privileges whilst doing so (for some reason they've changed the permissions system and now I can't actually work out how to use it) If this has fixed it may be due to the server restart we had on Sunday afternoon :)

Alternative fix for this issue: request to be changed from 'guest' to 'normal' group on TS.

Thanks Trax :)

Also badgered Sasser to make me normal on TS ;) So should be totally fine now!

Problem Fixed.

This issue should no longer arise, I have changed the Guest server group permissions to be able to subscribe to channels at will.

[Edit]can a mod modify the title to bug:fixed please? ;)[/edit]
