Are they a friend? An acquaintance? Someone I have no idea who it is? Should I be taking a weapon? Is there any possibility of zombie attack? Also, do I need a shower before meeting this person? Or breakfast?

Amy does have an idea who that might be. She's not in danger. They just want to meet her, is all.

Amy's fairly sure she'd showered today, and she's not particularly hungry.

If I do NOT know answers to the rest, please tell me so. If the character knows but I as player must not, say so as well, please, so that we are clear.

Assume I'm being intentionally vague when I only answer some of your questions.

I'm just saying I find it difficult to control a character I don't know nothing about and to whose memory and knowledge I don't have full access *shrug*

Aanyway, although I have plenty more questions about this whole situation (eg. what's the bottle on the table, was Amy drunk?), it appears the story want's us to go meet the person. Do it!

Also, Amy is a bit of a pansy. Considering she doesn't want to tell me who the person is, wher does she live and other things, one would think she'd dress appropriately and don't forget to lock the apartment from the outside before leaving *sigh*

Dress up. Check the fridge/larder if you're hungry and eat something of appropriate nutritional value. Take the cell phone, your wallet and your key and whichever other neccessities it takes to survive a trip to the oak, a nice talk with a friend and finally the journey back home - can't really say what kind of could that be, seeing as I know NOTHING about the setting.

EDIT: Is this even Amy's appartment? If so, where are the keys? Check under the couch or at other places these could be (various furniture, clothing etc).

Okay, apparently I failed to make myself clear again.

Try to pretend this is one of those old text-parser adventure games, the kind where you had to type out what you wanted to do, and the game said "unknown command" a lot. Now, I'm slightly smarter than that, so you can use more sophisticated sentence structures, but essentially your commands should be based around "Take X", "Use X (on Y)", "Look at X" or "Go to X".

I hope this is not too much of a turn-off for you.

It was a lengthy sleep. And a little erratic. But now I'm back.

One of them is a poster advertising a new thriller movie, "I Escaped". The other is a schedule of a counsellor's office. Amy can't recall what she brought them home for.

Amy picks up the coin. A closer inspection reveals it to be a bottle lid, presumably from the empty bottle of carrot squash.

Eh, close enough.

Is there another section of the house (a cloakroom maybe?) that could be searched for her coat?

I'd like Amy to take the councellor office schedule paper and put it into her notebook so that she doesn't lose it.

Is there a place to recycle your bottles on the way to meet the person? If so take the empty bottle of squash and recycle it! Save the environment and all that.
