Well, if "all of the above" is the easy way out, then I guess so is "a gaming community", which is what it is for me.

As I'm not a believer in "Other (Please Specify)" options in polls , I guess I had to vote "WoW Guild", as it's the bit of THN I most often and most intensely interact with...

But, yeah, THN is not the guild, nor is it TS, nor is it the forum. It's all of that glued together into a "community infrastructure", so to speak,, which is cool in its own right, I guess, though the actual cool part is the group of people that use this infrastructure.

For me, it started as a BF2 clan, from that I meet a lot of people who became real life friends and was also used as a TS server. It was also the first forum I proper paid any attention to and as such the shoutbox is something I spend a good amount of time staring blankly at. It is a game server for things like TF2 and in the past project reality and a bunch of other games. It was the friends I'd made on THN who twisted my arm into playing eve and that became a big part of THN for me for a long time.

I never played WoW when it first started being played in THN so the only part of the list that doesn't apply to me is the WoW bit. As to which option to pick I have no idea.

I chose teamspeak server but dont take that the wrong way. This place means all those things and more to alot of people, me included. I just think i use the TS server alot more than any other option.

I was led to believe that THN is a group of gaming enthusiasts that form WoW/Eve/other MMO guilds using a forum and teamspeak server as a shoutbox and Online Events organiser where you can meet real life friends who you may play games with via Steam and other game servers.

I've gone for forum as to me thats the core infrastructure. Having said that, it's really the combination of things that makes me proud to wear my [THN] tags. I can't deal with just a forum as I generally stop checking it, but there's something about thn which makes me stop and look everyday!

Also, it would be an EVE Corp not an Eve Guild, and HNW is in stasis atm anyway
