Ahey,
Ok, so, the rickrolling probably can't be topped, but I wanted to try my own hand at the challenge, anyway.
As before, points to the first guy to post the original song and artist(s).
Cheers,
J.
Flailing away at demons can make for a fun day
You hack and you slash, in your main-hand and off-hand way
Wiping on mobs with a bunch of slobs from your home town
Looking to thottbot or wowhead to show you the way
Tired of lying on the ground, but doing corpse runs is a pain
You are dead, the healer's dead, but there's a boss to try again
And then, one day, a new expansion is upon you
They all told you it would come, you'll buy it on day one
And you raid and you raid, content's there to be played, clock is ticking
It won't be the same to come back to try it again
Content's the same, in the relative way, you'll be higher
Stronger in gear, many more spells to appear
Every raid is getting shorter, folks can't seem to want to hash
Quests that either give you naught or half a bag of vendor trash
Fighting on in quiet desperation one more stubborn day
Time is gone, raiding's over, thought I'd some more mobs to slay
(levelling reprise)
Ding, ding again
I like to level when I can
And when I log out 'cause I'm tired
Its good to see my rested XP higher
Come tomorrow, ding again
The routine I know so well
Quick hop to the trainer, then
To learn more skills and further magic spells.
