Threads/Events sidebar tabs

Recent Threads & Upcoming Events, how would you prefer to see them?

Noticed the Recent Updates box in the sidebar on the right (on the main view)? That's been replaced by a widget, same place, with two tabs, one for threads (like before) and one for events. I can break them out so that one is above the other quite easily but I didn't want to having a huge long column for no good reason.

Alternatively, I can actually break out the events bit and see how it looks as a bar beneath the shoutbox (kinda like we had in the THN Blue style on the old board).

Thoughts in poll and/or below please.

Doesn't seem to be a strong theme here so I'm going to leave the tabs as they are pending future consideration as/when we look at the template overall.

Found it interesting that if you look at those you can miss stuff. Like Panda's DOTA 2 event thread. Didn't know it existed since it wasn't coming up on the side.
