Let me open this quest by saying I had planned to go to bed 3 hours ago but got caught up in the excitment of everyone finding out where are all the quest items were so meh.
There are four main things that happened today to do with the X-Mas event (Happened at midnight).
You get both Dwayna's and Grenth's quest from "Old Nikoles" in Lion's Arch.
Dwayna's Quest;
You are tol to go and talk to Joy, a representitive on Dwayna...do so. She then tell you to talk to Scrawny Jim (Or something like that). He is in LA so talk to him and he tells you how he wants to build a mighty snowman. he says he needs the follwoing items (in this order).
Coal:- Go to Ascalon city and to to the Vanguard who is standing near Symon the Scribe.
Corncob Pipe:- Go to Droknar's Forge and talk to King Jalis Ironhammer.
Magical Hat:- Go back to Lion's Arch and talk to Magi Malaquire.
Finale:- Go talk to Jim again and he mentions Nebo Village is under attack. Then go to beetletun and head east till you reach Nebo Village. Once there kill all Grenths and Humbugs to complete the quest with the aid of your giant snowman (Freezie I believe he is called).
Grenth's Quest;
This was the hardest of the quests tonight as it was a lot harder for people to find the items as they were far apart and in weird and wonderful places and is the main reason I am up three hours after I intended to go to bed. To do the quest talk to Velunus in Lions Arch and he will tell you to collect items to make a Grenth potion. You need the following items (in this order);
Termites:- To get these you go east from Beetletun and into Nebo Terrace and then go through the Ascalon Settlment and head North East to the beach. Once there head for the small dock and talk to "Fisheman Finnius" to recieve the Termites.
Gunk:- To get the gunk go to the Temple of Ages and when you leave follow the path as it eventually curves SE and some distance away you will see the Gunk Farmer. Talk to him for the Gunk.
Garlic:- To get this go to Beetletun and leave through the North exit. follow teh path until it forks and follow the North path. Soon you will see a Necromancer and her Guards about to fight a group of other guards. help teh Necro win her fight and she will give you the garlic.
Unwashed Socks:- This one is funny
Go to the Bergen Hot Springs. Leave through the exit and you will see a villager calling for assistance she says someone has stolen her "Precious yet un-washes socks". Chase this naked warrior for a short distance till he corners himself and gives up. Then take the socks and the other items back to Velunus.
Finale:- He will then tell you to meet him and a newly created Grenth outside LA and says you will take the grenth to the Ascalon settlment. Failry simple, take him NW to the settlement and destroy the presents and return for your reward.
The Candyman;
This candyman is in Lions Arch near the other merchants. He makes weapons out of "Candy Cane Shards" (*5 shards per weapon). The shards drop randomly from any and all monsters. However, I find farming the gargoyles outside of Nolani Academy to be the most profitable way of collecting them as they produce one or two per 5 minute session.
Collectors;
The collectors are all over Ascalon City, Lions Arch and Drolnars Forge. They have many names so I wont list em...just go and look. They trade many items for an Assortment of X-Mas items. They all trade different things so I wont list em again...go look. This is just like at Halloween for Bart's reference.

I am now 4 special items up and did the quest tonight with Rab so tomorrow (or later today however you look at it) I will be doing it with Eve and maybe some of you if I'm lucky. I'm now going to update the Guild message in game then collapse. Night Night and merry X-Mas.
