I've had nothing but issues when trying to play, as far as the actual game play goes, I much prefer conquest to rush as bottle neck defence and grind attack don't interest me at all. The maps for conquest in some cases need to be bigger and in others need to be a little tighter, or with less crap in the way that makes the use of the vehicles on the bigger maps tricky. I actually otherwise am starting to enjoy the game. I have once again got used to toggle ADS and am almost over my issues with it.

However I do have a massive issue with what are currently game ruining bugs for me. The server browser is terrible, the play now feature is more likely to lock my system up than allow me to play now. I have a lovely DX11 gfx card and as a result it seems to take me 4 times longer to load a map than anyone else meaning on rush maps bombs are normally planted well before I spawn and conquest the game is very much underway.
The longest time I've ever managed to stay on a server for is about 3-4 rounds before the EA server or the game server either crashes or disconnects me. Half the servers in the list are unjoinable however rather than just telling me that the game attempts to join it and then bums out horribly.

So yeah there are a fair few bugs. I keep going back to 2142 now when it crashes which is still an awesome game so am getting my battlefield fix either way.

I wonder if the game crashes are DX11 related?

I'm on DX9 and don't really seem to get anything like the same problems some of you have had.

Most of the crashes I seem to be getting are all server connection crashes so if it is DX11 related I'd be surprised but it could be.

Since the patch the other day, been having no bugs whatsoever, and the browser works fine now. Might just be a problem your end?

Well, I've reinstalled patched. Run pbsetup update enough times to make me want to swallow my own tongue. I've uninstalled and reinstalled graphics and sound drivers. Tried it with both sound cards. There is no issue with the connection itself so is definetely game side.

Since the patch about 3 days back it has been better, but far from sorted.

'Fraid i dunno what i can do then..MAybe your one of the people who are still getting the bugs.

I was actually wondering the opposite. I know your router does weird things from time to time. Distant memory reminds me of some oddities with BF2 and networking in the way back...

I've created a number of sub-channels in the Battlefield channel on TS3 now - because there are currently a large number of us all playing, we may not always be on the same server at the same time so this would make it easier for us to be in appropriate channels

Well, damn. We have a big patch for BC2 incoming on Wednesday. Hopefully it will turn this buggy piece of crap into a... less buggy piece of awesome :)

Added 15 second spawn timer for Conquest/Rush gamemodes at the start of round to prevent high end machines getting the upper hand before other machines load in.

Awesome now i can play above low! After i got a new gfx card i continued to play on low, heh i tried a higher setting and while fps went up, so did load time.

Anyone else getting alot of Carl Gustav lately? I mean like ALOT of it? As in i spawn and 3 seconds later my body is trying to occupy the same space as a million billion Carl Gustav rockets.

Yeah, I've heard that's the latest leet technique. Hopefully this patch will address that.
