I personally dont care either way, sure, Click to ADS and release to hip is faster, but somtimes, having toggle is awsome. Personal preference i guess.

And that is why i alt fire on spacebar :)

I think i am going to try hardcore out soon, as i am getting sick of getting owned by people while i am on full auto at them with a LMG(medic) and a med box at my feet.

Anyone want to join me?

Hardcore, off the top of my head:

Friendlyfire, no ammo counter, no crosshair + more, im not sure if the crosshair and FF things are compulsary with hardcore, i would presume hardcore increases bullet dmg, and makes dying alot easier.

In BC2 you have to click twice which I consider painful at best. Everything takes longer. I really can't see how anyone would prefer it. However I do appreciate that everyone has different ways they play which is why most games allow you to pick. For me it is just another thing I have to do to disengage after shooting someone which is a pain in the ass.

tbh I'm not enjoying the game much at all so not all that bothered if they fix it or not but I'd certainly have more time for it if they did.

So... You guys are grumpy old men: CONFIRMED

If remembering better days with games that were actually made for pc and not just console rips offs makes me a grumpy old man then i'll gladly pull up my trousers and hand me my god damn walking stick.

Note to self: Never preorder games from play.com.

Got my copy the day of release =/ What does your Steam orders page show? Was it maybe eaten by the post? If it's still waiting on Play.com, cancel it and get it somewhere else maybe?

If it was ordered from play.com, why would it be on STEAM? You need to link the Cd-Key with STEAM to do anything, dont you?

But yes, best bet is to cancel then order from somehwere else or from steam.

Order's been sent, and they did so the 4th. Apparently they have some special way of making sure the game is delivered extra late.

as regards steam: yes, the delivery is faster, but if that was what I cared most about i could just walk to a store and buy it. (or preorder from a Swedish mail order company, i guess). The convenience of not needing a disc to play is not worth €15 per game to me.

Ditto. Especially as you can install BC2 to activate over the internet, so that's you don't need the disc in the drive (and lets you install on up to 10 machines at the same time, obviously only playing on 1 though). Or you can install so that it does a disc check every time so that you don't need the internet. It's nice to have the option, so meh.

Or Amazon / Game (for the price (online)) as they're actually quite useful at delivering stuff...

Lost in the post.

wait, what? That actually happens? I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't track the game online, but lost in the post? There's like one in a billion that happens... at least where I live.
