Blood Bowl League 3.3 Week 3

Brutal 2-0 victory to Dreamy - even killed one of my guys - though in hindsight an elf and a norse have identical stats bar +1 Ag to the elf.

Kasatka did show up smartly, and a fun game of charging norse and occasional elfball was had.

The only weakness of the norse was the elf endzone, where they would regularly trip over either and elf, or lacking such they'd stumble over their own feet.

Other than that they had nice pitch control, and the average number of elves on the pitch was seven.

Wouldn't mind a validation, to be able to buy a new dancer before the bye week

Edit: And yes, norse and elves are roughly of equal frailty. Norse do trade some speed and agility for the ability to block. :)

Wh'up Fred... I had sent you a PM, maybe you didn't see it...
Anyhooo... I think some time over the weekend will be best as I'm pretty booked up for the rest of the week's evenings. I may be free Friday but won't know until around 20:30 that evening.
How about Saturday around 13:00 CET / 12:00 GMT?

Well, strongarmed passer (not that I needed one, but fun to try) and new Wardancer. Now the bye week can come, and after that it's MDK-Lizard time :D

I got an extra re-roll via a Leader on a thrower, and bought back my 2nd Berserker. Next on the list is to save for a second Werewolf dude, probably 2 or 3 games away.

Smushy smushy! Strong Arm on the thrower is a brilliant skill. I have a thrower with SA, and Accurate - even long bombs are easymode!

My TT woodies manage just fine with two AG 5 passers - now that I have finally learned to usually limit myself to short passes with them.

That said, 2+ long passes will be a fun thing to try out. :D

Fuck me sideways! Dwarfs passing in the hot sun and saurii picking up and dodging.
2-0 to brother dearest with no permanent injuries on either side. Saurii with str 4 and block can't be moved and he defended his skinks well.
My wizard (that's right dwarfs love the magic) did little with one badly hurting a skink and a saurus downed. With my runner, Bugman, taken out in the first half I struggled to pick up let alone run up the field on the second half resulting in no touchdown for me. Tho my blitzer did pass to another blitzer in the blinding sun and a dodge in to a 3 man marked tackle zone. The finally touch down was by Lumpy (Huung's genetically deformed saurus) who was able to get his 6+ and dodge my Blitzer.
All in all a cheeky game with amazing luck on both sides but a bit more on Huung's blocks.

speaking of dodgy amounts of monies awarded, I'm sure that after playing my last game it said i'd won 70k - just checked my team, I only have 30k :(

It always rerolls all winnings upon validation. It is usually more annoying when it rerolls a 6 into a 2 than the opposite. Only really painful for winners..

I was also missing my Krox for the entire second half, after a sneaky dwarf KO'd him in the final turn of the first half :(

Brilliant game though, Vel deserved a 1-1 draw, honestly.

Well, Narly and I had probably the best game of blood bowl I've ever had. Hero play all over the place.

I'm not going to tell you the score (though obviously you can check in the league), since I'm going to try and post up the replay. It's worth watching without knowing the result to the end. It started messy, and got messier.
