I was banging my head on the desk from as soon as i saw the the final kick-off and every roll i made after that! ;)

Well, Narly and I had probably the best game of blood bowl I've ever had. Hero play all over the place.

Thanks for the game Panda and sorry for not hanging around to chat afterwards. The kids woke up and I had to tend to fatherly duties.

It was a pretty crazy game. My Chaos must be incredibly sore after the encounter. So many of my players knocked down - again and again and again. But the armour was Dwarf mithril at its best! :D And so many changes of fortune in the match too. Especially later on in the game it kept switching between the 2 of us as to who would win. The only consistency was my Mino who was a fat sack of crap! He would have caused 3 turnovers, but it was limited to 2 as a result of successfully using a reroll. And then he spent most of the rest of the time throwing a tantrum on the ground (aka Wild animal).

I can complain about the Mino and also about the kick off results (every damned one of them), but it was more than offset by my magic armour number 8! By all rights i should have been significantly down in numbers on the pitch. By way of example of the smackdown i suffered, at 1 stage in the 1st half, with 11 Chaos players on the pitch, i had 3 left standing after Panda's turn (thankfully 1 was my ball carrier).

Annoyingly the mvp fell on the loner Beastman and i was 10k short of hiring him. Serves me right for crippling your Kick Lineman i guess. At least next match i can afford a Beastman reserve, although saving for a 4th reroll is also mightily tempting.

Panda with issues...

My MVP fell on my crippled -1S kicker, so I don't feel sorry for you...
No worries about having to go quickly, and thanks for the game!

Wow. Thats really rubbing salt in the wound. It seems Nuffle/Cyanide likes to reward crippled players/loners alike.

Funny match though. I was so sure i was going to win it after i pushed your carrier over the sideline and then so sure i was going to lose it when you got a blitz on the kick and i knocked myself down.

I set up in that formation as i mistakenly thought i had 2 turns to score, rather than 3.

Having trouble working how to make this replay go on my computer. Anyone help with an idiot guide?

Download the replay and stick it in your C:\Users\<username>\Documents\BloodBowlLegendary\Saves\Replays folder.

Then just load up BB, go to Single Player > Load > Replay. It'll be the match between Irradiated Wanderers and Sturm und Drink :)

Just saw the replay... great game... back and forth !

BB Manager says Narly failed 5 Wild Animals of 12. Panda failed 4 of 12... pretty bad.

Both sides did poorly in breaking armor... surprised only 1 norse hurt !

Apparently I don't have a program associated with performing that action or some shit. Which is strange as I can normally download stuff no problem. Guess I'll have to take your word for it guys...

You won't be able to open the .db file directly. Once you've downloaded it from here, move the .db file itself into the folder I specified, and then you can view the replay from within the game itself.

Yeah, my Mino was a total waste of space. Panda's wasn't much better, but at least he didnt cause 2 turnovers and his disturbing presence came into play a little bit.

Was a fun back and forth game though and i was really lucky that armour breaks were low as my guys kept hitting the dirt time after time. I was so sure i was going to win after recovering the ball in the 2nd half. And then so sure i was going to lose after the final kick off blitz result and subsequent failed blitz by my Beastman.

Barn, if you are eager to watch it i can upload it to bbmanager and you can download it from there. Let me know.

right... lots of you keep going on about "bbmanager" - WTF IS IT?

Its a program that you install on your comp that extracts a lot of data from your matches. For particular matches, you can see your D6 "luck", 2D6 "luck", % of turnovers, number of block dice rolled, results of block dice, etc., etc., etc. Quite a decent tool to determine if your win was more a result of lucky dice than good play and vice versa. A couple of other things it allows you to do are:
- easily watch replays of other peoples matches.
- display results of leagues and track certain stats for leagues (such as most violent team, most yards running, most casualties sustained, etc., etc.).

Lots of stats stuff.

A lot of leagues require that you use bbmanager (as you upload your match to bbmanager). Crunch Cup (bbtactics) requires you to use it. And then they use the tools to allow them to post the match stats and ladder on their websites. Here's an example of some of the league stuff that it allows you to post:
http://bbtactics.com/forums/standings-ccvi-other-stats-t1121/

Some people don't like it as you are effectively downloading and installing 3rd party software that could possibly be carrying some sort of sinister virus. I was reluctant for this reason, although it seems to have become quite mainstream now.

got a download link for it?

Might be interesting to see just how bad my dice were for last season...

to 'import' a game into BBmanager you have to watch the replay in full, or have it running while you play a game.

I recommend BB Manager.

If your unlucky or your oppo lucky... stats will tell you and you can feel smug about being nuffled.

If luck wasn't the factor you can figure out what went bad. Part of playing well BB is not to roll that many dice... this program can tell you that too.
