Decidedly dominated by Dreamy and deserted by dice.
5:0 to Dreamy (yes 5!)

/I don't want to talk about it

Well, talk or not - that was the worst case of leprosy (and lost fingers) I've seen in a while.

Failing eight out of twelve pickup rolls - all of them easy ones.. well, that's hard to fight against.

And only one casualty and two KO:s - well, if the elves don't go down in numbers they keep being dangerous.

(Nice rhyme by the way ;))

Just noticed that myself. In this case I am free from Wednesday evening on (last important exam before a break on Wednesday just french left, but who really cares about that). Let me know when you are available.

Would this coming Friday be good for you then? About 7ish?

For fuck's sake Xylak.

Now I have a virtually impossible match mext week!

Not particularly harder than Xylak's match though.

I've got one more dodge, sidestep on a catcher, and a new thrower (in case the old one bites it) but that's it for changes.
Now only 160-230 k gold more without death or injury and the team is good as gold. :p

Just had a nice match and chat with Dr.Drae... who will need a doctor for his ratz ! Won 2-1... should have been 3...

So my High Elves named "Modern Life Evils" as the name implies were pretty cruel and kept hitting those ratz. Surprised more of them didn't get hurt.

Basically ran a lot of elves into the backfield and sent the ball their way... when an early 2 KOs gave me the numbers advantage I stalled the final TD while giving them ratz a good beating... especially those near the sidelines.

Two linemen leveled up with quick passes and TD on that half: "Getting Fat" & "TAXES" (TD). Lineman "Low Salary" managed to Badly Hurt a SV as well... which helped a lot. I scored on Turn 6 due to lack of protection from the rampaging Rat Ogre. Dr.Drae was outnumbered and reluctant to rush a TD... but I did manage a gang foul on the Rat Ogre that sadly resulted in no result but got "Low Salary" expelled... nasty elf. Talking of nasty... "BILLS" killed a rat lineman with a well placed hit on the wallet.

Unfortunately for Dr.Drae he decided to foul an Elf ... seeing that this Ref was pretty sharp eyed that might not have been a good decision... especially since he fouled with a Gutter Runner... duly expelled. 1 GR left.

2nd Half he tried to rush the GR down... but failed to keep him away from the sidelines again... my Wrestle Elf "Nosy Mother in Law" dodged twice with ease and pushed the poor rat & ball to the crowd... who were less forgiving GR KO'd. Ball landed near my EZ and was in 1 TZ only. The slobbering frenzied Rat Ogre just pushed the poor elf aside and a lineman scored ! 1-1.

I figured a quick TD would allow me more TDs against a decimated Ratz. Blitzer "Nagging Wife" badly hurt a lineman opening way for "Hot Co Worker" (thrower) to do a long pass to lineman "BILLS". 2 GFI later and he made a TD ! 2-1

The last turns Dr. Drae went on the defensive... I almost scored with Blitzer "Your BOSS" but got greedy and failed a GFI. Lineman "Alarm Clock" managed another badly hurt rat before the match was over...

Thanks Dr.Drae for the Match ! Wish him more luck against his other opponents !

Fucking loving those names on the players, hilarious!

Tried to verify, but BB wouldn't let me connect. Will try again tomorrow.

Happy you like em ! Check all the names... some didn't "shine" during the game.

As soon as game is verified i'll be buying my first catcher... "Veneral Disease" :D

Thanks Panda...

Got 3 lvl ups on linemen. First time I play HElf... what is the usual build on these babes ?

I guess 1 kick... 2 w/ Wrestle ? (already have 1 wrestle)... long term any interesting skills ? (one of them rolled 6+4 AV or MV or just get skill)

With High Elves you want your kicker, and then you want some blodgers or wrodgers on the linemen. MV is OK, but with 4 Catchers you are going to have plenty of speed anyway, so I'd skip it personally. The linemen are best for the stalling defence and I like Dodge, Wrestle/Block, Fend, Side Step. It can be worth having Dauntless on one or two of them for high ST teams. You could also add Diving Tackle/Tackle to a couple. The Catchers tend to do your blitzing and the blitzers are best built utility in my opinion but if you can get your linemen well-developed this sort of build shines. For me Dodge will be your first pick, because if you roll a double second skill you would rather give him block, and it saves on re-rolls. Block or Wrestle are better if you plan to play them more bashy.

I'll be facing 2 humans and 1 Gobbo... hmmm....

Linemen dodge first then ? What about sneaky git on one ? Too much ?

Do you really want to be fouling with elves? I mean, when I use elves I have enough trouble keeping them on the pitch, without adding extra risk, sure, sneaky git helps, but I wouldn't be desperate to even clump my players together for gang fouling.

I wouldn't foul a player unless my player was of a lower TV than theirs, generally. With HElves this is unlikely to be the case, there are much better skills to grab before you start grabbing ones which would result in an unusual and untried play style.

Sneaky Git doesn't require gang fouling... if it doesn't work its fine. If it works armor has been broken. Of course Dirty Player is more "guaranteed" to take out the target.

I don't think I'll be facing Claw/POMB Piling On maniacs in THN... but they are the guys you want to kick when they are down... :D
