Getting a Ships 1:2 Defenses ratio at the moment, but that should be swinging to 1:1 shortly. :eek:

(Currently, one ship for every two defense units, etc.)

Well, I've been attacked a couple of times now and only lost 1 Eagle. People are starting to bite off more than they can chew over here. :D

Good stuff! I'm back on the first page of planet listings! \o/ With quite a low number of roids (compared to the others on the front page), which should stop people wanting to attack me :D

Yay for loads of defenses!

999 Ships, 705 Defenses. This'll be going up to 1750/1205 though.

uh-oh, I nearly ran outta ships. I'm gonna have to take some resources from the fund :eek: I'll put them back once I re-stock on roids and ships!

For those players that have been stuck in a hole for a while... the game is currently FOOKED. Looks like Andrew (the creator) is having some serious server issues and the game now appears to be stuck on tick 845. If you have been logging on for the past few days you may have noticed it being very slow and things not quite working properly. Well I have been receiving defence from Exo-Warrior for 20 ticks now... and no-one is recieving any resources. So yes... problems are afoot. As myself and elDiablo seem to be the most active in-game, I shall post again here when (if) things get fixed.

Also, Exo-Warrior, did you read the PM is ent you like a week ago??? you still haven't replied.

Right then DBers, the problem with the game has been fixed. There was a backend problem that was fixed last night, however there were many players who during this problem period had a massive advantage or disadvantage. (Nanor had a disadvantage as he was under attack for like 40 ticks!!!)

So... what's going to happen is that the game is reset to a backup, which was made just before the galaxy shuffle. What this means is: a) anything we have done after the shuffle will not matter. b) we will have another new set of co-ordinates as the shuffle will need to happen again!

Just a heads up...

Right. The backup restore is going to happen.

The game will be stopped at 6pm tonight, the backup will be restored, and the game will start ticking again tomorrow at 6am GMT. So go attack someone! do what the hell you like! Obliterate your fleet! it doesn't matter as the game is being restored to a time just before the shuffle.

Well, it looked like it worked. But all of this morning I have been able to sign in for a whole 2 minutes. All the rest of the time I'm getting "High server load, please, try again in a few minutes. Thankyou!" message. Which is VERY annoying!

I still can't login :( I get the main page, and then click "Log in", and get the "High server load" message again...

Can I please ask people to make use of threaded mode. Those already on threaded mode are having a tough time reading new posts on here, and I think we're stretching the templates to places they shouldn't be going.

shite... there seems to be a problem with Darkbattle at the moment... but from what I can tell, the site has been HACKED!!! (ZOMG!) The reason I think this???

Every single DB site is innacessible, except for the stats page, located at http://www.darkbattle.com/stats/ which is currently displaying the message "you know, banning an ip that isnt mine wont help you"

I got a feeling that there is a major problem here...
