ok guys after chatting to a few guildys about the idea of having a big 1 or 2 day meet up (bender/getting ratarsed) i have always thought it would b an amazing idea and a vast amount of the guild hav given positive feedback even for those that would hav to take flights over.
So heres my idea pick it apart all u like but try to remain posative pls people.

I think lincoln is the obvious choice for the meet (not sure of closest airport)

it would b very easy going but probably time specific i.e maybe in the summer here july maybe or august.

id like some feedback on how we could get this idea moving and a show of hands for who would b up for a few days of fun in old england with a bunch of faceless voices and bloated egos...oh wait thats just me :)

come on people help me out with this.

Ideal time would be somewhere in August for me, to be honest. I'll be on vacation then and the a couple flights + bender + going to wherever-in-England-it-is not being accompanied by "hmmm... 3 hours left for work" would be a godsend. :)

No disrespect but this has nothing to do with the Lan i40 thing and id like to keep it that way!, we can all play games and talk all day in our own homes this is a chance to hang out together away from that and have a laugh face to face.

on the plus side Baldi has suggested someone can share his bed as he never has anyone else to share it with! :)

I will, alas, not be living in Lincoln, in all likelyhood, after the end of June. But i am still -well- up for the meeting!

Im sure hotels etc wont be too much for 2 nights or whatever! :)

ok people this is gona happen ive decided, i need to coordinate with the lincoln masive and il try to find out about specific hotels and areas and such, also i cant promise anything but maybe we could look into helping some of those who r having a hard time getting there, remember this could b a weekend to remember, the first big annual haven meet but.. if people dont help me a little it can just as easily fall on its ass so any help with cars or info is a grt help.

well i could be in for this... i'm in Maidenhead, Berkshire, have a big car and can easily take 3 other people + their shit. If this goes off and I can make it, I'll happily take passengers - especially if they can help with costs ;)
