Right, put nicely I'm not seeing enough DPS in raids. I have said time and time again to study Elitist Jerks and learn your class inside out. If you want to progress when Icecrown comes out you need to know your shit.

Also before people blame it on gear i have also said time and time again you can gear up to ToTC10 levels by just doing Heroics. Conquest badges buy level 226 gear and the Triumph badges from the daily can buy level 232 and 245 gear. Therefore run all the heroics you can until you have all the possible gera or better.

Put simply my alts offspec are beating most of our raiders on DPS, get recount, compete. Make DPS a competition again and trust me you'll get more out the game and above all else the chance to shut me up if you beat me on a meter.

In B4 EJ is lies. It isn't, stop being shit.

I'm proud of all zee Shanomnoms tbh, but that's pretty much just the three of us raiders (Rhya, Lawn and myself).

When PuGing heroics to get better DPS than the guild becomes a regular habit, you know something is up; if anyone wants any specific help on gearing especially, I don't mind setting up gear lists for people, to give you something to aim for both short and long term. For rotations/priorities and general class mechanics Sabot is obviously your man, but I'd like to think I have shaman/druid/dk on lockdown.

General rule of thumb:

Head - Conquest - 58 emblems
Neck - Conquest - 19 emblems
Shoulders - Triumph - 30 emblems
Chest - Conquest - 58 emblems
Bracers - Little trickier, can get for 60 valor, but you're better off with ToC ones (same ilevel, much cheaper on emblems)
Hands - Conquest - 28 emblems
Waist - Conquest - 28 emblems
Legs - Conquest - 28 emblems
Feet - tricky again, 40 emblems of valor will get you some 213s, but once again you're generally better off with ToC ones until you've spent your conquest on everything else
Rings - 25 valor emblems/ToC/35 triumph emblems
Trinkets - ToC/triumph emblems/some of the 40 heroism emblem ones.
MH - ToC or champ seals.
Offhand - Scribes can make a couple for casters, or 25 heroism (caster offhands)/35 heroism (shields)
Ranged Slot - 19 Conquest/25 Triumph/for some classes the 25 Valor ones are still better.

Total: 318 minimum (30 triumph for shoulders included)

Assuming an average 4 bosses per heroic, that's 72 heroics to get gear which will see you pulling 4k DPS with ease in 10mans. Even doing 5 a day would only take you a little over 2 weeks (also the amount of time to get those shoulders just from the daily heroic badges), so in a month anyone could be this well geared. Other than a total lack of playtime, there really is no excuse not to be well geared this far into Wrath.

I know man, I was going to give you an honourary mention, but your main raiding character is Youn, so that's why I added the "raiders" bit :p
But yes, Shujin is also doing amply in my book :)

I used to be top dps on my mage in 40 man MC.. and that's even when we had to do manual aggro control and pallies didn't exist ;)

I kinda miss being that competetive.. but it was a bit too much, stops being fun when you take it "too" serious. Then again having the right gear and spamming the right buttons isn't hard, so dunno why anyone would suck as much as you seem to be saying ;)

Gz, now post it in context, show damage done, If it's a boss (and your actually beating me) then i'll stop telling you to learn your class. But for now, learn what gear and stats you should be aiming for as a Hunter, rather than asking in /g if spellpower mail is any good for you.

Um... is it just me or does that image say "DPS" on the toolbar - ie. showing the DPS for that part not the damage done? If I throw everything I have on Huung at once, all trinkets etc and get good procs, I do OVER 9000 DPS for a split second. The raw DPS means bugger all, if your ToT (Time on Target) is lower than someone else's you'll likely be doing less damage.

Plus, as Sabot says, what context? AoE? Boss fight? :S

It was only bit of fun, whyy soo seriousss, plus i was asking if sp was good for a hunter because i wasn't asking for pve i was asking about pvp, as i didnt think sp was good for hunters, but yet on the item it says Class: Hunter,Shaman, Is there really a problem with asking guildies ? Or is it just an attempt to just make me look bad by saying this?

And it was on boss Razorscale. On AoE i did get up to 9.5k DPS and in the toolbar where it says DPS, if you click on damage done it still shows the same DPS in brackets.

And i do know my class, i have only been playing since after the lich king.

But lets be fair, i did win, and deserve a cookie :P lol

No, it is good you ask, instead of just wearing it and doing something terribly wrong!
You should always ask if you're not certain. Remember, there are no stupid questions :)
And we are, above all, a helpfull community guild :)
