I'd signed up for this and had an email today.
No beta key but a "watch our new video" one instead.
Except, to watch the new video you have to "like" them on Facebook.

Why do companies insist on forcing people to Facebook - or offering Fb users special discounts etc?
Fuck Facebook. Fuck it in it's fucking stupid, intelligence gathering, marketers wet-dream, privacy invading, content snatching, overblown, over-hyped face (book).

I hate Facebook with a passion. Not the website or the concept but it's methods and practices. No, Facebook, you cannot haz my pikchurz. (You do know that ANYTHING you upload to Facebook becomes theirs to do what they want with, don't you?)
No profiling me, either, you sneaky shits.

Why do people sign up for this crap then kick off about Google? At least Google are up-front about it.


Not saying I approve of Google's methods but, hey, log out and you can still use their services without being followed.

Well, you don't have to provide pretty much anything to FB (other than a name and an email, possibly some fake credentials), in case you don't want to, but still use it to follow information, snatch up promotions and such...
For those of us who don't care about being provided targetted marketing, it's pretty good :)
