Pre-Purchase list is up!
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/User:Stephane_Lo_Presti/GW2_prepurchase_retailers_list
Zavvi have normal edition listed at £50, so probably going to be £120 for CE at a guess
Pre-purchase (as opposed to pre-order) gives beta access and 3 days head start, pre-orders give a single day headstart
that is pre-purchase date only, it won't be released till summer at a guess

Ive played the beta. It is awesome and I cannot no wait!
Due to nda etc i can say i havn't played the beta, but my evil conjoined twin has, and he says something along the lines of:
Its awesome. its very very different to the original (feels much more, if not a bit too frantic, especially the combat) teh art and feel of the game are quite honestly, different to anything ive played, a lot of effort has obviously gone in to make it *feel* good, and it does, the characters come to life in their own way nicely, and its all, like the original, very pretty to look at and just amble through. in particular towns etc come to life with trillions of different npc's doing their own thing.
just kind of feels "natural" unlike any game ive played before, where its "I'M A GAME AND YOURE SAT ON A CHAIR PLAYING ME".
My evil conjoined twins only critisms so far have been that magic casters combat seems to rushed, he couldnt focus on what was happening and spells dont really feel like theyre doing much, skills arnt adequately explained and how to level them up/get new ones etc, and phsyical combat feels too "floaty" warriors/melee dont *feel* like theyre hitting anything.
Rangers however kick ass. And necros have awesome gribbly minions
and i testify it cant be guild wars because you can jump, and that breaks my mind.
We’re counting the days until the first public Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend Event, which begins on Friday, April 27, at noon PDT (GMT-7) and ends on Sunday, April 29, at 11:59 p.m. PDT (GMT-7). Hundreds of thousands of players from around the world will get their first taste of Guild Wars 2—and rest assured, we’ll be playing alongside them!
There are a couple important things you need to know about this Beta Weekend Event:
- The only way to absolutely guarantee your access to this or any future Beta Weekend Events is to pre-purchase any edition of Guild Wars 2.
- Customers who have pre-purchased the game will receive an e-mail next week with instructions on how to download the client and participate in the Beta.
- This is a public event, which means that you’re not bound by a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). So go ahead, feel free to take screenshots, shoot video, blog, tweet, write, or compose a rock opera to share your Guild Wars 2 experience with the world.
so it should hopefully arrive "soon"Sending such a large volume of mail takes some time, so don't fret if you don't get yours immediately. When you do receive it, keep in mind that the site is getting an enormous amount of traffic, so you may get a 502 error briefly. Just hang in there and give it a few minutes, then try again. ~RB2
